Postdoc Talks – Mental Health in Academia

Mental health in the academic sector has become an increasingly important subject in recent years, with the recognition of the unique circumstances that make an academic career. Among other factors, academics commonly need to relocate for career opportunities, adding cultural alienation to the high competitiveness and low job security to the challenges that an academic career brings with it. The post-doctoral phase is particularly formative and important in this regard and this merits consideration of mental health and wellbeing.

Postdoc Talks: The online series provides an open platform for discussing topics central to the postdoctoral career path. You can gain insights from experts in the research landscape and the academic community, while also exchanging ideas with other postdocs.
