Inga Sievert studied Social and Cultural Anthropology, Indology, and Sociology at the Universities of Hamburg and Delhi. During her studies, she worked in exhibition management at the Museum am Rothenbaum (MARKK), an ethnological museum in Hamburg. For her master thesis, she researched placemaking practices among Tibetan refugees in Delhi. Inga is now a research associate and PhD student in the CLICCS B1 project “Social Constructions of Climate Futures”. For this, she has just completed a 1-year ethnographic fieldwork in the Harz Mountains in Germany, where she worked with foresters, conservationists, hunters, local politicians, firefighters, and other local actors on perceptions of climate change and future visions for the forest and the climate.
Her research interests include social constructions of climate and forest futures in the Harz Mountains, Germany.
