"My time at SICSS was very shaping for my personal and professional life. I got to know new friends from all around the world, some of which I am still in close contact with. The activities around the MICSS student council have always been a fun distraction in between the learning.
After my Masters, I went to Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, to undertake my PhD studies on the tropical Pacific decadal variability, which I completed in early 2020.
I am currently working as a postdoc at Geomar in Kiel within the PalMod project, looking at the impact of mesoscale eddies on the oceanic heat and carbon uptake in the Southern Ocean."
