I study climate science because it offers the unique opportunity to work across disciplinary boundaries, engage with a wide range of perspectives and stakeholders, and do science that is societally relevant and impactful. Through my study, I hope to gain a better understanding of the complex interactions between the physical climate and human systems, and use that knowledge to assess and reduce the impacts of climate change on those most affected.
