Primary research interest
I am Sarah Lorenzana and interested in connecting climate science with our political and social systems, moreover, how to implement those scientific insights.
In my opinion, regulating global climate in cooperation with everyone is one of the most important things we as the global population need to focus on.
My major interests are chemical and biological processes of the ocean and the possible use of geoengineering methods to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere.
Reason to opt for the ICSS/SICSS
The ICSS program is the perfect opportunity for me to learn more about political and social factors after my almost exclusively scientific bachelor.
Furthermore, a lot of different research fields are coming together and working on solutions for climate related problems and I am very interested in being a part of that.
