ONLINE WRITING RETREAT
Writing is a practice. Together we can create a more effective writing process and be especially productive. And that works online, too. We connect via Zoom for structured writing sessions and take advantage of the productivity by means of the focus session, and from strategic planning, community, and binding time structures. The collaborative writing practice takes place between 9:15 am-1pm. After a highly effective morning, you'll have time in the afternoon to continue writing on your own or to devote yourself to other work commitments, family tasks or similar, or to take advantage of the afternoon writing session from 3pm to 4pm.
Over the course of three days, you will learn and practice strategies for writing productivity, and establish new routines that will make you more effective in the home office or wherever you write. You'll advance your current writing project - no matter where it is now.
After the course, you will have access to the online coworking space THE WRITING ACADEMIC. Our virtual coworking space will be available for you to use the method of the focus-session for productive writing in your daily life and to establish a regular writing practice.
Bio of Katja Günther: As a coach and trainer, I have been accompanying writers for many years on their academic career paths, especially in the writing process. In my coaching practice Faden Verloren I work with doctoral candidates, post-docs and professors and use approaches from systemic coaching and Gestalt work together with innovative didactics of writing. I care about supporting scholarly writers to live their scientific potential to the full - and to grow personally in the process.
Professional background: M.A. in Romance/Anglophone Studies, Gestalt coach, Focusing, Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), NLP-Master, Systemic Coaching (certified according to DGfC).
