For six young researchers, the dream of being able to concentrate solely on their passion - science - is now coming true. They are starting their scientific careers as Doctoral Candidates at SICSS.
At the SICSS welcome meeting on Monday, May 6, they were welcomed to the offices at Grindelberg, introduced to the SICSS Structured Doctoral Program and had the opportunity to meet their peers and staff members for the first time.
We are looking forward to the collaboration with: Kai Bellinghausen, Linda Kochniss, Dalena Leon, Mailin Samland, Selina Undeutsch and Clemens Marggraf. Over the next couple of years, they will pursue their doctoral research at Universität Hamburg, Hereon and GERICS.
Our new members thus benefit from the numerous advantages that SICSS offers its doctoral candidates. The structured SICSS doctoral program enables an integrated, innovative education in earth and climate system sciences thanks to its Interdisciplinary. SICSS also offers career development and networking support - the SICSS Advisory and Panel System provides qualitative, structured, and continuous supervision. We warmly welcome our new SICSS members and look forward to work together!
