On February 7, 2025, the Centre for Earth System Research and Sustainability (CEN) proudly hosted this year’s Graduation Ceremony at the Geomatikum. The event honored the graduates of our master’s and doctoral programs, bringing together students, faculty, family, and friends for an evening of recognition, reflection, and celebration.
A total of 55 graduates were celebrated:
The ceremony featured speeches highlighting the graduates' dedication and accomplishments, culminating in the presentation of the Wladimir Köppen Prize, which recognizes outstanding scientific contributions in climate and Earth system sciences.
A Festive Reception and Networking Opportunity
Following the official program, graduates and guests gathered for a reception, providing a relaxed atmosphere to connect, exchange experiences, and celebrate their achievements. We congratulate all our graduates and wish them success in their future careers—whether in research, policy, or industry. We look forward to seeing where their paths take them next!
