Primary research interest
My work advances climate impact prediction through four pillars:
- Modeling extreme weather: Analyzing how large‑scale circulation shifts intensify heatwaves, floods, and other extremes.
- Biodiversity, extinction & carbon feedbacks: Quantifying how global warming drives species extinctions, undermines ecosystem resilience, and alters carbon‑cycle feedbacks.
- Agricultural risk assessment: Assessing how changing temperature and precipitation regimes threaten crop productivity, yield stability, and global food security.
- Renewable energy integration: Embedding large‑scale wind and solar deployment scenarios into Earth‑system models to chart low‑carbon mitigation pathways.
Reason to opt for the ICSS/SICSS
